Well, never fear, because here is a comprehensive guide to the two kits! Both kits are already incubated and contain pre-grown mycelium, ready to provide you with a harvest of Psilocybe cubensis. You can pick which subspecies of cubensis you would like, such as Golden Teacher, McKennai, Thai, Mexican, Equadorian, Cambodian, Mazapatec or B+. Find out more about these various strains in our Species Manual, so you can decide what kind of trip you desire once your little mushies have sprouted!
So far, so similar. But there are a few key differences you need to know when choosing between the MAX and the OHM grow kits.
The OHM Mushroom Grow Kit:
The OHM kit is the larger version of our X kit. You can watch our quick and easy tutorial of how to use it here!
Here are its specifications:
? Harvest Yield: Up to 350 Gram
? Volume: 1200 mL
?️ Strength & Visuals: Varies per species
?️ Stock Temperature: 4 Celsius
?️ Grow Temperature: 15 – 30 Celsius
Some users consider the OHM kit faster and slightly easier to grow. Additionally, this kit generally harvests more than the MAX kit, however, we can never guarantee a minimum harvest.
The MAX Mushroom Grow Kit
The MAX kit is a larger version of our GO kit. You can watch our quick and easy tutorial of how to use it here!
Here are its specifications:
? Harvest Yield: Up to 300 Gram
? Volume: 1200 mL
?️ Strength & Visuals: Varies per species
?️ Stock Temperature: 4 Celsius
?️ Grow Temperature: 21 – 35 Celsius
For those of you ordering from hotter climates the MAX kit is for you! It can survive transport in warmer weather. This also means that if you are ordering the MAX to a cooler country we recommend buying a heating mat.
Growing Magic Mushrooms
Each kit has a different method recommended for its growth. The growing tutorials can be found here. Make sure you scroll to the correct instructions for your grow kit and read carefully.

In both of our kits you should see shroom pins within 10 days, however it can occasionally take up to 3 weeks. It really depends on the growing conditions you provide. In any case both kits, under the right conditions, are the best way for you to have fresh shrooms at home!
